A multi-day, community-led bike ride, with space for social connection important uncomfortable conversations helping us to be more successful in driving the change that our world so needs.

Theme: Rewilding & Regeneration
Route: North Yorkshire to the North East of England
Ride the Change 2026 is a four-day, community-led event on bikes. We’ll ride through beautiful and varied landscapes of the East & North Yorkshire, and Tyne & Wear, visiting regenerative farms, rewilding sites, and community led climate & nature projects on route. We’ll even enjoy some inspirational evening social events too.
The route is TBC, but will look something like this:

Scarborough to Whitby (68km / 42 miles)
Day 3: Saturday 29th September:

Hartlepool to Newcastle (65 km / 41 miles)

On route, we’ll be visiting, passing through, and hearing from projects including North York Moors, River Esk Connect, Linking Levisham, Greatham Marsh Transformation, and Hartlepool Art Gallery.
